Aang air-mobility Training path (Patch 2.5 re-check)

Practice goals from official air-mobility / corner-carry notes + Training tools. Not a frame table, not a damage BnB, and not a claim that pre-patch creator routes still convert after the August 5–6, 2026 content window.

01. Phase 1 — Lessons & Trials on current build

Confirm the in-game teaching tools still match your muscle memory on the Patch 2.5 (2026-09-02) build.

  1. 01Note the build (Patch 2.5, 2026-09-02) on your Training log.
  2. 02Complete Character Lessons for Aang.
  3. 03Clear Combo Trials until inputs are automatic—do not invent missing trial damage.

02. Phase 2 — Grounded confirm + Flow cancel

One repeatable grounded conversion before air freestyle.

  1. 01Save-state a mid-screen hit-confirm.
  2. 02Lab one grounded confirm into a Flow cancel ten times clean.
  3. 03Record support choice (Gyatso / Momo / Appa notes are only partially documented).

03. Phase 3 — Air drift / cross-up conversions

Practice official-profile air mobility without inventing hit-confirm windows.

  1. 01Save-state a cross-up or air-drift situation.
  2. 02Convert only when the first hit is already locked—no unconfirmed Super Arts.
  3. 03If a creator “Aang combo guide” fails, check patch date and support before blaming the trial.

04. Phase 4 — Corner-carry idea (profile-level only)

Lab the official corner-carry idea as inputs only.

  1. 01Practice one corner-carry route from official profile notes—no invented damage numbers.
  2. 02Track Energy needs (zero / one / two) before casual online sets.
  3. 03Update your personal Tier Lab board after real sets—not after one highlight clip.

Training-room practice goals

3–5 verified practice targets (no frame table)

Complete these in Training, Character Lessons, and Combo Trials. They are practice goals—not damage numbers, not an official difficulty rating, and not a published BnB list. Re-check on the Patch 2.5 (2026-09-02) build.

  1. 01Finish Character Lessons, then Combo Trials for Aang on the Patch 2.5 (2026-09-02) build.
  2. 02In Training, lab one grounded confirm into a Flow cancel you can repeat ten times; re-verify on the Patch 2.5 build, with the August 5–6, 2026 multi-character / hurtbox standardization window kept as history.
  3. 03Practice one corner-carry idea from the official profile route—inputs only, no invented damage numbers.
  4. 04Save-state a cross-up or air-drift situation and reset until the conversion is automatic; mark the build (Patch 2.5, 2026-09-02) on your notes.
  5. 05Re-test the same route after changing support (Gyatso / Momo / Appa mappings are partially documented) and after any creator Aang combo guide dated before Patch 2.5.
