Xbox Series X|S released September 3, 2026 on Microsoft’s own storefront and Xbox Wire. The 2026-09-13 storefront recheck no longer shows the pre-order/release-date line; it lists the title with a standard $29.99 price plus Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud Gaming coverage. The storefront link still carries the legacy “preorder-bundle” slug in its URL even though the listing is the released product—treat that URL text as a store identifier, not as a purchase-window claim. Paramount overview copy still uses a broader July 23 multi-platform frame—that is launch-family language, not the Xbox purchase clock.
